a. Roving survey: The roving survey was carried out at random locations in various sapota orchards of Valsad, Navsari and Surat districts for identification of various sapota diseases. From each orchard, five trees were randomly selected. From each tree, five newly emerged twigs were observed for various diseases. b. Fixed Plot Survey: The fixed plot survey was carried about at FRS, Gandevi. For this, infection was recorded from 25 twigs from five trees according to the method adopted for roving survey. |
