Experiment Background

Soft skills are a term used in the industry to describe a person's Emotional Quotients rather than his technical or professional skills. Soft skills are extremely necessary for each individual to survive and develop in every workplace and in life. These are skills related to one's personal strengths and soft skills like time management, Decision making, Self confidence, communication, team work, problem solving and leadership traits. Navsari Agricultural University is situated in south Gujarat at Navsari district. At present there three polytechnic in agriculture working under the Navsari Agricultural University i.e. Waghai, Vyara and Bharuch. Today there are enormous mass of capable work seekers in the agricultural sector and competition among them for work acquisition and career survival is becoming increasingly tough. Those who possess soft skills then they will certainly be able to develop them self among other job seekers as distinct. Looking into the above facts the presents study entitled "Assessment of perceived soft skills among the students of Polytechnic in agriculture of NAU” will be undertaken with specific objectives. |
