Experiment Title Efficacy of fungicides and bio-agents against sorghum grain mold

Experiment Background Sorghum crop is grown all over the world and is a staple food and fodder crop in India. Among cereals, sorghum is the fourth most important crop after rice, wheat and maize in India. The dual purpose sorghum varieties are more preferred in India as well as Gujarat. Some of the varieties which are high yielding, good grain and fodder quality are susceptible diseases which take heavy losses under conducive environment. Since last two-three years the grain mold incidence was severe particularly at Surat location. Therefore, it become necessary to study the efficacy of fungicides and bio-agents for the control of grain mold disease in sorghum.
