Experiment Title Evaluation of fungicides against Sugary disease of sorghum

Experiment Background Sorghum is an important staple food crop of South Gujarat. The dual purpose sorghum varieties were more preferred in this area. Some of the varieties which are high yielding, good grain and fodder quality. Such varieties are susceptible to sugary disease which takes heavy toll under conductive environment. Since last two-three years the sugary incidence was severe particularly at Surat location. Therefore, it becomes necessary to study the efficacy of fungicides for the control of sugary disease in sorghum.
