Experiment Background | Kagzi lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) is used in almost every home of the Indian to flavour food or in the preparation of pickles. It is still propagated by seeds, throughout the country as this is the easiest and cheapest method of propagating this crop. Sexually raised plants are long lived, have extensive root system and bear a heavy crop. Nurserymen and growers often face problems like optimum sized seedlings in the shortest possible time, growth must be accelerated for which foliar spray to plants with certain growth substances etc is advised. Considering these facts, the present investigation is proposed to know the “effect of growth substances on growth of kagzi lime seedlings’’ with the following objectives: | ||
