Experiment code 19.2.3.71
Experiment Title Study on natural farming system in rice for their economic feasibility and impact on soil health
Research Type Other Agency
Experiment Background Organic and natural farming is promoted by the government and launching many schemes to support to those directly and indirectly involved in this farming system such as Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER), National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture, Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY), Sub-mission on Agro Forestry (SMAF), Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana etc. In this connection, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission has approved the project on “low budget natural farming” to do research on this aspect. Therefore, this experiment is planned.
