South Gujarat is the main Indian bean growing region in our state. It is mostly grown during rabi season in field vacated by kharif rice. Varieties of Indian bean (GNIB-21 & GNIB 22) released by pulses Research Station, N.A.U., are found promising for higher yield, earliness and more pickings as vegetable. It has good quality for marketable as well as cooking traits. This variety has erect plant type with Inflorescence shoots regeneration habit. But, it has short vein with early sown which dry before flowering give higher vegetative growth of plant. It indicated that its growth habit is so flexible with provided situation i.e. wider spacing, cutting etc. Hence, there is a need to fixed proper time of cutting. Moreover, the yield potential of any variety/hybrid can be exploited by adopting suitable recommended package of practices. There is no research work has been carried out on cutting practices for Indian bean. Therefore, an attempt has been made to determine effect of cutting in Indian bean Hence the present experiment is proposed with following objectives.
