The challenge of our generation is to increase crop production while simultaneously rendering agriculture more sustainable. Performance of improved cultivars is essential for sustainable agriculture yield and food security. Farmers observed that an understanding of varietal response to ecological condition, technological requirement and yield. The present study was on farmers’ response on performance of improved cultivars of major crops in Narmada district. with the following objectives. |

Research Methodology
|
Narmada district was selected with all the five Talukas. From each Taluka 3 villages and from each village 20 respondents were selected, hence the total sample size was 300. One major crop and one variety of season wise comprising each major crop were selected purposively for the present study. The data were collected by personal interview. The collected data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted in the light of the objectives.
