| Experiment Title | Governance and management of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in South Gujarat |

| Experiment Background | Producer companies can help smallholder farmers by participating in emerging high-value markets, such as export markets and also help in reducing the input cost by aggregation of the inputs in the group. At present total 341 FPOs (25 SFAC under old scheme, 126 new scheme and 190 NABARD) promoted FPOs are there in the Gujarat State. Out of these 52 FPOs are there in South Gujarat. |

| Research Methodology |
Methodology: FPOs those are functional since more than one year out of entire 52 FPOs in South Gujarat has been selected for the present study. From each functional FPO, one CEO and 2 BoDs have been selected for the present study by using “Simple Random Sampling Method”. The primary data is being collected through preparing questionnaire. Tabular analysis will be used for the analysis of the data. |
