Experiment code 21.5.3.8
Experiment Title Forcing of flowering in mango through different chemicals
Research Type Departmental Research
Experiment Background Changing climate conditions have leads to poor and erratic flowering patters coupled with poor fruit set in mango is the leading issue of current mango growers. Uneven rainfall pattern have led to continuous availability of moisture which results in simultaneous vegetative shoot production and uneven flowering ratio. To mitigate these conditions and to regulate the flowering pattern there are some chemicals which works as a flowering promoters. Hence, this experiment is formulated to regulate the flowering patters in mango with following objectives.
