| Experiment Background | Mango crop is mostly affected by different types of stress like moisture, drought, temperature, salinity etc. Such stress directly or indirectly affect flowering of this crop. In South Gujarat, due to heavy rainfall the moisture level in soil remains high after cessation of rain for prolonged period, hence the plants do not get proper stress leading to delayed or absence of flowering. To mitigate this problem, there is need to manage moisture level in soil which might result in early flowering and fruiting. | ||
