Experiment Title Widening the genetic base in sapota

Experiment Background This experiment is initiated during Feb., 2013 with the commercially grown variety in the region i.e. Kalipatti. The experiment are continue as per given guidelines. 1. Selfing the flowers of important commercial varieties (Kalipatti for Gandevi). 2. Raising the half sibs (Minimum of 500 progenies are to be raised) 3. Planting the seedling with a closed spacing of 2 x 2 m. 4. Evaluation for the growth.
