| Experiment Background | Cashew is subjected to attack by more than 180 species of insects and non-insect pests. The cashew crop is damage by major insects such as stem & root borer, TMB, leaf miner and blossom webbers. It is also infest by minor pests like thrips, aphids, mealy bugs and apple & nut borers. Losses in nut yield of 25-50% was reported at Karnataka, Goa, Kerala and West-Bengal and it may increased up to the tune of 83%.Present investigation is taken up to find out economically effective compound against pest complex of cashew. | ||||||||
