Experiment Title Application of different statistical tools for survey data analysis

Experiment Background Statistical methods involved in carrying out a study include planning, designing, collecting data, analyzing, drawing meaningful interpretation and reporting of the research findings. Data on its own means nothing without proper analysis. Thus, it needs to make sure about survey analysis produces meaningful results that help make decisions that ultimately improve the study. In the survey study scientists’ deals with huge data, but mostly those are limited to the use of basics statistical tools like mean, standard deviation, percentage, correlation etc. ultimately fails to recognize the work at high rated reputed national and international journals. Therefore, it was thought worthwhile to apply advanced statistical tools like PCA, Nonparametric test, factor analysis, logistic or probit analysis etc. The current study will try to acquaint the researcher with the advanced survey analysis tools that will be utilized while conducting various survey studies.

The study will be use secondary data on survey research study collected from the PG research thesis or demo data will be utilised. Different advanced statistcal approach will be applied on data analysis. The following tools to be adopted for the survey data analysis:

  1. Correspondance analysis
  2. Factor analysis
  3. Logistic models
  4. Structural equation model, etc
