Experiment Title
Effect of land leveling on crop water requirement and growth of sugarcane |
Research Type
Departmental Research |
Experiment Background
Land leveling is very important aspect for the irrigation point of view in the field crop. Unleveled land result in wastage of water with poor water distribution which ultimately causes uneven crop growth and effect on crop yield. Farmers do not give much attention to this aspect, resulting in poor water use efficiency, lower production, an increase in soil salinity and sodicity, etc. Therefore, this experiment is to be planned. |
